A Song for Val - Benefit CDs are HERE!

The benefit song on CD, A Song for Val, that Fred Gillum produced has arrived! If you would like a copy, you can either email us at mailto:info@valerielopezrobinson.com?subject=Benefit CD or complete the order by clicking here and mail a check or money order to the address on the form. The CDs are $8.00 each and profits from the sale of the CDs go to the Valerie Lopez-Robinson Fund. Not only do the proceeds help Val, its an awesome song!

Tailgates Benefit Next Saturday!

Just a reminder for everyone that Tailgates Sports Cafe in White Plains, MD will be holding their benefit for Valerie on Saturday, May 13, 2006 from 1 pm to 6 pm. All ages are welcome. There will be a DJ and food. Tickets will be $10.00 and proceeds will be directly sent to the Valerie Lopez-Robinson Benefit Fund. Swim-A-Thon Success!

On Tuesday, May 2, the swim team presented Valerie and her family a check for their wonderful efforts the past couple months holding Swim-a-Thons. The response to the Swim-A-Thons was tremendous. We sincerely thank everyone who was involved, participated and supported the Swim-A-Thons. There is an article in the Maryland Independent for 5-5-06 if you would like to check it out further.

"A Song for Val" Released April 13, 2006

A Song for Val was written and produced by local musicians, some very close to Val and her family. This song will be available in about 3-4 weeks. Tailgates Sports Cafe Benefit

Tailgates Sports Cafe in White Plains, MD will be holding a benefit for Valerie on Saturday, May 13, 2006 from 1 pm to 6 pm. All ages are welcome. There will be a DJ and food. Benefit Dance at Mechanicsville Fire Department

The Benefit Dance at Mechanicsville Fire Department will be held Saturday, April 15, between 8 pm and 1 am. Tickets are now available and are $25.00 per person. This includes beer and light snacks/finger food, popular band and DJ and lots of fun. We also need volunteers for this event, so let us know if you would like to help out. Please keep in mind this is an adult event.

Applebees Fundraiser on April 8, Postponed

Please note that the Applebees fundraiser that was to take place on Saturday, April 8 has been postponed. We will post the date as soon as we have it. Second Swim-A-Thon held this Saturday!

This coming up Saturday (March 18) will be the second Swim-A-Thon for Valerie. It is being hosted at St. Mary's College for the St. Mary's and Calvert teams to participate. The time is from 9 am - 11am. The last Swim-A-Thon was a huge success so I am sure this one will be too. Another Applebees Fundraiser on Saturday, April 8

The Applebees Fundraiser went so well this past Saturday that Applebees has generously offered to let us have another! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 8th. The breakfast will run from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Tickets are $10.00 per person. If you need tickets, please contact us at info@valerielopezrobinson.com. Additionally, if you would like to volunteer, please email us. We want to thank Lori and her staff at Applebees for their thoughtfulness and helping everyone make this such a huge success. It was truly a pleasure working with everyone!
